Notes

'Galata' tulip (Tulipa 'Galata') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The red flowers have a yellow base and open from early to late spring. They stand about 16 inches tall, so plant them in groups for a bold splash of color. Cut a few stems for a vase.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Cytherea peony, and Switchgrass.
