Notes

'General Eisenhower' canna (Canna 'General Eisenhower') is a bulb for borders, containers, accents, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Hummingbirds and birds visit the flowers. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Hardy hibiscus, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Ostrich fern.
