'George Grappe' tulip (Tulipa 'George Grappe') is a bulb for spring beds, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The purple flowers open in early to late spring on tall stems. Each bloom has a sky blue center and a royal blue blush at the base. Give it rich soil and slow release fertilizer while it grows.

Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Scentara Double Blue lilac, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
