Notes

'George Vancouver' rose (Rosa 'George Vancouver') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The medium red blooms are fragrant and attract bees. Svejda and Ogilvie bred it in 1994. It stays upright and reaches about 35 inches tall.

Pairs well with Blue Muffin arrowwood viburnum, August Moon hosta, and American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan.
