Notes

'Getano' rose (Rosa 'Getano') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright shrub grows to about 47 inches tall and bears fragrant red blend blooms from late spring into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Reinhard Noack bred it in 2006.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Niobe clematis, Red-hot poker, and Ironweed.
