Notes

'Glazed Raspberry' peony (Paeonia 'Glazed Raspberry') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early semi-double flowers are light raspberry pink and fill out as they age. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The spreading plants reach about 30 inches, so give them mechanical support.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Eastern columbine, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Queen of Night tulip.
