It bears yellow flowers in early to mid spring. The shrub grows 36 to 60 inches tall and spreads 36 to 60 inches wide, so give it room to fill out as a hedge.
Pairs well with Blue Chiffon rose of sharon, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Stargazer lily.
