Notes

'Lynwood Variety' border forsythia (Forsythia intermedia 'Lynwood Variety') is a shrub for hedges and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Yellow flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Birds visit the shrub too.

Pairs well with Armenian grape hyacinth, Drumstick primrose, and Wood forget-me-not.
