Notes

'Gold Nugget' rubikon hens & chicks (Sempervivum 'Gold Nugget') is a succulent for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Its rosettes are gold with red edges from January to May, turn apple green in summer, and glow red in fall. Use it as an edger for pathways or borders, or grow it in pots. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Biting stonecrop, Myrtle spurge, and Hens and chicks.
