Notes

'Gold Mine' rubikon hens & chicks (Sempervivum 'Gold Mine') is a succulent for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. The color changes to lime green in spring as the weather warms. The mother plant dies after flowering, but the chicks replace it. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Biting stonecrop, Myrtle spurge, Stonecrop, and Hens and chicks.
