Notes

'Golden Giant' rose (Rosa 'Golden Giant') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Deep yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1965.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Blazing star, and Yellow iris.
