Notes

'Golden Glory' cornelian cherry (Cornus mas 'Golden Glory') is a large shrub for specimen planting, hedges, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a moderate rate into a dense form. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Bees and birds visit it, and it blooms in early to late spring.

Pairs well with Winter aconite, Witch hazel, Switchgrass, and Niobe clematis.
