Notes

'Goldfink' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Goldfink') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. It stays small, at 9 to 12 inches tall and 6 to 9 inches wide. Yellow flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Hummelo betony, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
