Notes

'Goldstar' tulip (Tulipa 'Goldstar') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The buttercup yellow blooms open from early to late spring and have creamy yellow anthers. Plants reach about 22 inches tall, so they make good cut stems. K. Wiedijk bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Many Happy Returns peony, and Little bluestem.
