Notes
'Gospel' rose (Rosa 'Gospel') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Dark red blooms open from early to late summer and are fragrant. Bees visit the blooms, so plant it where you can watch them work. Hans Jürgen Evers bred it.
Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Obedient plant, and Stargazer lily.
