Notes

'Grand Forks' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Grand Forks') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows to 28 inches tall and bears white, fully double flowers 6 inches across in a late bloom season. The strong stems hold up rain-soaked blooms without breaking. The flowers open dependably in hot weather when other late bloomers fail.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Cinnamon fern, and Royal fern.
