Notes

Green lavender cotton (Santolina virens) is a shrub for borders, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. It forms a mounding, evergreen mat of fragrant green leaves. Yellow flowers appear from early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
