Notes

Green santolina (Santolina rosmarinifolia) is a shrub for borders, containers, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. The evergreen foliage is fragrant and forms a mounding shape. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Yellow flowers open in spring and again in summer, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Lavender, Yarrow, and Sea holly.
