Notes

'Grenadier' tulip (Tulipa 'Grenadier') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are bright orange scarlet. They open from early to late spring and give the border color across the season. You can find this tulip mostly in historical collections.

Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Alexander Fleming peony, and Little bluestem.
