Notes

'Guldsmedsgarden' peony (Paeonia 'Guldsmedsgarden') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Hermann Krupke bred it, and the full double golden-yellow flowers have a spicy clove scent. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Plants grow upright and reach about 39 inches tall.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Bobo hydrangea, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
