Notes

'Hakodate' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Hakodate') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large white flowers have golden-yellow centers, a sweet fragrance, and open in early summer. The plant stays small and compact, and Millet & Son bred it.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Tall fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
