Notes

'Hakuun' tulip (Tulipa 'Hakuun') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. White flowers open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. The Toyama Agricultural Experiment Station (TAES) bred it. Plant the bulbs in groups for the best show.

Pairs well with Hamilton tulip, Mount Hood daffodil, and Spiked speedwell.
