Notes

'Harriet Cory' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Harriet Cory') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The rose-red flowers are fragrant and have an Anemone, Japanese type form. A full ball of fine, tubular petaloids tipped in white and yellow fills the center. Mrs. Walter Campbell Lyman bred it.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Blue grama, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
