Notes

'Hawaiian Sunset' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Hawaiian Sunset') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large Japanese type blooms have deep pink guards around a big center cluster of creamy petaloids. The seed carpels are maroon with scarlet red tips. Eugene H. Lins bred it.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Sedge, and Little Beauty tulip.
