Notes

'Heidelinde' rose (Rosa 'Heidelinde') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant stays compact and has dark green leaves. Its fragrant mauve flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
