Notes
'Hemisphere' tulip (Tulipa 'Hemisphere') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its dark purple-red flowers open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. J.J. Buis & Zn. bred it.
Pairs well with Armenian grape hyacinth, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, and Bridal Crown daffodil.
