Notes

'Henriette Clarke' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Henriette Clarke') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. MacDonald bred it. The double white blooms have scarlet splashes on a few petals and a rose fragrance. Flowers reach about seven inches across on strong, wiry stems.

Pairs well with Delphinium, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Bobo hydrangea.
