Notes

'E.G. Hill' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'E.G. Hill') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, rose-colored blooms open in early to mid spring and make good cut flowers. Plants stay compact and upright, and they reach about 28 inches tall. Lemoine bred it in 1906.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Royal fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
