Notes

Himalayan maidenhair (Adiantum venustum) is a fern for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. Its thin, creeping rhizome forms mats of fan-shaped fronds that often turn orange or rusty-brown in autumn and winter. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It stays evergreen in mild areas.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Bluebell, and Orchid.
