Notes

'Holstein' rose (Rosa 'Holstein') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. The bushy plant has dark green leaves. Kordes bred it in 1939.

Pairs well with Buckeye Belle peony, Ornamental onion, and Blue grama.
