Notes

'Honey Queen' raspberry (Rubus idaeus 'Honey Queen') is a shrub for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Its large, sweet berries taste like honey and are less acidic than red fruit. Enjoy them fresh, frozen, canned, or baked. The canes have thorns and fruit in their second year, so give them vertical support and remove them after fruiting.

Pairs well with Honeyberry, Lingonberry, and Sensitive fern.
