Notes

'Honor' peony (Paeonia 'Honor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, rose-pink single cups open in spring and attract bees and butterflies, and Saunders bred it in 1941. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Plants reach about 35 inches tall.

Pairs well with June hosta, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
