Notes
'Honorius' peony (Paeonia 'Honorius') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Yellow semi-double to double flowers face upward and have a slight citrus scent. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The upright plants stand about 30 inches tall and need no support.
Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Blue grama, and Stargazer lily.
