Horned spurge (Euphorbia cornigera) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, and it tolerates drought and salt.
