Notes

'House of the Golden Bracelet' peony (Paeonia 'House of the Golden Bracelet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Joshua Scholten bred it. Its yellow double flowers bloom early with a slight citrus scent, and the upright stems need no support. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Switchgrass, and Minuteman hosta.
