Notes
'Invicta' gooseberry (Ribes uva-crispa 'Invicta') is a shrub for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Greenish yellow flowers open in mid spring. It grows 24 to 60 inches tall and spreads 36 to 72 inches wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Rhubarb, Pink Lemonade blueberry, Golden Delicious apple, and Peony.
