Notes

Rhubarb (Rheum hybridum) is a perennial for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 36 to 48 inches, so give it plenty of room. White flowers open in late spring and again from early to late summer.

Pairs well with Bowl of Beauty peony, Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Black Hero tulip, and Queen Sophia French marigold.
