Notes

'Iona Herdman' rose (Rosa 'Iona Herdman') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its deep yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Samuel McGredy II bred it, and H. Kemp introduced it in 1914.

Pairs well with Smoketree, Japanese forest grass, Ornamental onion, and Baby's breath.
