Notes

'Irene Thompson' rose (Rosa 'Irene Thompson') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant yellow blend blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Samuel McGredy II bred it in 1921.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Baby's breath, Nelly Moser clematis, and Ornamental onion.
