Notes

'Isoline' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Isoline') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large cream white blooms have a straw yellow center with crimson spots. They open in mid to late spring and have a flat, anemone form. Victor Lemoine & Sons bred it in 1930.

Pairs well with Lupine, Royal fern, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Bobo hydrangea.
