Notes

'Ivalace' common ivy (Hedera helix 'Ivalace') is a vine for ground cover, containers, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet soil of most types. It is evergreen, grows at a rapid rate, and handles drought and salt. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Birds visit it.

Pairs well with Siebold's hosta, Ostrich fern, Virginia sweetspire, and Western hemlock.
