Notes

'Ivory Queen' ornamental onion (Allium karataviense 'Ivory Queen') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It makes large, pure white spheres above broad, bluish-green leaves. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. A.P. Molenaar bred it.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Sedge, and Spanish bluebell.
