Notes

'Jackpot' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Jackpot') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deep pink double blooms open in late spring on arching stems. The big, high-built flowers come late in the peony season. William Henry Krekler bred it, and it was introduced in 1977.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, New England aster, and Sensitive fern.
