Notes

'James L. Austin' rose (Rosa 'James L. Austin') is a shrub for borders, cutting, and fragrance in the garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The deep pink flowers have a fruity scent with hints of blackberry and raspberry. Each large rosetted bloom is packed with 40 to 90 petals and has a button eye. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Spiderwort, and Snowdrop.
