Notes

Jerusalem sage (Phlomis fruticosa) is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, xeriscapes, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Yellow flowers open in spring and again in summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Creeping thyme, and Purple top.
