Notes

'Purple Flora' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Purple Flora') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Tall, fragrant flower spikes reach about 47 to 59 inches high. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms, which open in summer and again in autumn.

Pairs well with Montbretia, Black-eyed Susan, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
