Notes

'Jockey Cap' tulip (Tulipa 'Jockey Cap') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The red blooms open in early to late spring and reach about 10 inches tall. The outside of each flower is deep carmine rose edged in creamy white. Inside, you will see a signal red flower with a black base edged in yellow, and the leaves are mottled.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Nodding onion, and Claire de Lune peony.
