Notes

'Claire de Lune' peony (Paeonia 'Claire de Lune') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant light yellow blooms age to white and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Dr. Earl B.N. White bred it in 1954.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Dittany, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
