Notes
'Joffre' tulip (Tulipa 'Joffre') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are yellow with red nuances, and they open from early to late spring. Plants stand about 12 inches tall, so you can set them near the front of a bed. Cut the stems for a bouquet when the buds show color.
Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Nodding onion, and Claire de Lune peony.
