'John Gray' snowdrop (Galanthus 'John Gray') is a bulb for woodland gardens, early color, and naturalizing. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. It blooms early, often in late winter, and the nodding white flowers are extra large with inner petals that are nearly all green. Flowers may break through the snow. The breeder was 'John Gray'.
